I went to the local community college, spoke with an advisor and signed up for 3 classes. A math class that was only offered online, an economics class that's considered a hybrid because most of it is online but we meet twice a month in class and a philosophy class that meets once a week in the evening. I'm taking a total of 10 credit hours but I think with most of it being "home schooling" I'll be fine. I thought about taking 2 full classroom type classes but then saw 3 evenings a week disappearing and freaked out a little. I'll get a taste of all 3 types this way so it works out nicely. Classes start the very end of August. I've decided, tentatively, to major in business. I was a psych major the first time around but now that I run my own business I kind of figured this was the best route. I don't know that I'll do petsitting forever and hopefully having a business degree will give me options if I so choose. I don't know what kind of options yet but it's still early days, right?
Got a text from Scott that he should be here in about an hour. We're going to make a pizza and go see Harry Potter - he's a huuuuge fan. I'm a fan of the movies cuz duh who isn't but have only read the first book. When he gets his hands on the new book he'll probably read all of the previous ones again first cuz...he's a huge fan. It's cute ;)
I've been all a-twitter today over going back to school. I need to meet with an advisor at the "real" college that my credit hours will transfer to someday to make sure I'm taking the right classes. I need to buy books. I need to figure out what books to buy. Happy Weekend Everyone!
