On September 21st join other local cyclists in a critical mass ride through the streets of Kitchener-Waterloo in support of Car Free Day (Sept 22). Meet in Waterloo Park - West End at 4:45, ride at 5pm. The ride will be followed by speakers. Decoratiosn and bike art are encouraged!

Critical Mass is an event where bivcyclists take to the streets en masse. Critical Mass riders are self-organized, non-commercial and non-competitive, and they operate with diffused and informal decision-making. Participants have differing purposes for the event, such as promoting cycling in a city, bringing attention to issues of facilities and safety, and enjoying car-free social time on city streets.
