Saturday afternoon Gordon and I saw American Dreamz. It was strange. It was poking fun at western world life and terrorism which eh didn't work so well. The acting was good, just the material didn't really hit right. Then last night I went over to my friend Kitt's and we watched Just Friends and North Country. Just Friends was surprisingly hilarious. Kitt says the main guy is engaged to Alanis Morrisette and all I can say is Go Alanis. He's adorable. The funniest parts were him fighting with his brother. My brother and I are sarcastic, evil snots to each other as well. North Country was good but so depressing. It's a wonderful reminder of what fuckers most men are.
Today has been pretty low key. It's been grey and rainy for days here which has been nice actually but it just makes you want to curl up and be lazy. I was just about to change into my pajamas this evening when Gordon suggested we go see United 93. I thought it was really good. I'm guessing the military doesn't release a lot of details about their actions in these types of matters so I left wondering how accurate that side of it really is. It's clear we were caught off guard but the way they portrayed it, it looked like they were 5 minutes behind on everything. Probably they were. I hope they've figured out how to fix that. Anyway it's hard to imagine how you would react in a situation like the passengers on that flight but I think we would all react differently now than we would have before that day.
