odd friend of appearance

what the hell is going on with lj lately. i got a spam comment from jones soda carbonated candy yesterday and now today i am friended by nizakrit

oh and an email today from ljfind asking me to add their functionality to my lj which would enable some type of searching.
seems to me that this searching thing must already be happening by default since im seeing this odd shit going on in my journal.

what the hell is this.
