I've been looking around at townhouses in the area myself and writing down the addresses for the ones I want to see with my realtor. I have 2 options here. Either get one with a garage or get one with a little backyard/patio. I was pretty set on getting this 2 bedroom with a 2 car garage in that area that I love. However, today my realtor took me to see these other ones I'd found without garages. I was definitely not expecting to find what I found. I found the most gorgeous completely upgraded new everything place. I think my parents think I'm in a big hurry to pick something but they haven't seen this place. The only downside to it is it doesn't have a garage. The upside is it's got a backyard for Vigo so I have some frigging privacy when I let him out. My step mom was giving me a hard time about the lack of garage and yes it will be an adjustment...but the reality here is I can't afford a place that has both. And since they're clearly not planning to help me out with any money I have to find the best of what I can afford. Anyway the 2 bedroom with the garage is $1,000 more than this place and would have needed a lot of work - repainting, new appliances, etc while this place already has all of that plus gorgeous hardwood floors and new carpet. Oh it's beautiful. So do I seem like I'm nuts? LOL.
