The rain in the last 2 days robbed me of the swim I would have made in the afternoon!
My colour is fading and soon I would be as white as the Hainanese boneless white chicken.

Hi,
Friend in Florida has a craving for Singapore's Hainanese chicken rice. Unfortunately, she has been unable to locate the key ingredient, screwpine leaves/ pandan leaves to replicate the flavor. Would appreciate if anyone knows where to get them in Florida. Thanks!

After going to church early on Sunday morning, our friend took us to Tiong Bahru to eat some really yummy Hainanese curry rice. Mmm!
The curry-drenched rice went so well with the prize dish - the pork chop. Yum! We ordered a 5-person portion for 4 of us and it was polished off super soon. Oops.

And then remove the chicken (I am keeping them for later use to make Chicken carbonara) and put in some more chicken and boil it t

Rice is drizzled with 3 sauces - Thick curry, red 3 layered pork sauce and black braised soya sauce.
Rice is delicious enough to eat it on its own!
