I kind of hate frying, and this [lentil flour + rice flour + fenugreek powder = Dosai] shit didn't really make it worth my time either. Tasty but way too much effort for what tastes like a pumpkin-seed pancake.

Josh has been bugging me to update my livejournal, so I am. Ummm...toooday, I ate a masala dosai from bombay cafe. that made my day. Also, restarted "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier of Clay." Which should be italicized and not in quotation marks, but I'm lazy. This book makes me feel bad about the Holocaust, as most books about Jews in the 1930's and 40's do.

The lesser mortals of the earth have been recognised today. Today is International Women's Day. The woman of today (in Chennai) has to go home, make dosai or idlis for her brood and spread for her fat farting husband! He would grunt and splash and go to sleep. The poor woman has to get up, wash herself and check on the baby and try to get back to sleep amidst a lot of noise created by the slob

so, Dosai moved down here alot earlier then we first thought and we've hung out twice since the 14 (or first date was on v-day, how awsome is that?) lol and he's soooo awsome, I love him sooo much, he's such a sweetheart and M and him get along which makes me happy *sniffs the air* food...I'll finish this later, bye

Today, I ate a DOSAI (I think that's how it's spelt), and I got laughed at by everyone because I've never eaten one before. My boss commented, "how can anyone go through life without eating a dosai?", to which I was tempted to ask, "have you had a xiao long bao?" but decided against it. Nevertheless, I must admit I'm quite a food noob, for example, I only found out that oyster egg and stingray existed
