I finished reading Tales From The Nightside by Charles L. Grant (Tor, 1990) earlier this evening. The book collects fifteen dark fantasy stories separated into the following three sections: Tales From Oxrun Station, Tales From Hawthorne Stree and Tales From The Nightside. If you enjoy chillers, then I highly recommend the book if you can find a copy. I found my copy in a thrift store for fifty cents. Overall,

Does anybody know if there's any fanfic out there for Simon R. Green's Nightside series? I've looked but can't seem to find any. I'd write some myself once I've finished the exchanged fics I'm doing, but don't think I could get the feel of the Nightside quite right (though some utterly evil Nightside/Weiss Kreuz crossover bunnies are trying to bite).

Irgendwann letztes Jahr stolperte ich in einem Secondhandbuchladen hier in Dublin über den zweiten Teil der Nightside-Romane. Ich las, war amüsiert und kaufte mehr. Um es gleich vorweg zu sagen, die Romane sind Trash. Es ist keine anspruchsvolle Literatur, es ist Unterhaltung. Gute, solide und klischeebehaftete Unterhaltung.
