Bear Dog

After driving for about 4 months we arrive at Vermont. At Vermont, you can visit the Ben & Jerrys ice cream factory. And a bunch of trees. The factory tour was interesting enough (and who doesn't like free ice cream). Vermont is one of the few states that doesn't seem to have a McDonalds or Starbucks. That is an astounding feat.

LITTLE KNOWN FACT: Vermont is the 4-time winner of "Worst State License Plate

Rural Massachusetts

Outside of Boston, Mass is all trees. Miles and miles of trees, with the occasional house (leaves you wondering, how do people out in the middle of nowhere?). Right now I'm staying at a hotel in a town whose name I cannot remember. It is modeled after a colonial village. Note that it is NOT, in fact, a historical town.
