The telescope that will replace the Hubble eventually is the James Webb Space Telescope.
I am a telescope for NASA and I see galaxies, searching past the sun to find the beginning. I see light in infrared, looking toward the start of time, and the james webb telescope, is not yet online

Classic science fiction at it's best dealt with the hard issues of it's time. You can see the Cold War, The Civil Rights struggle, McCarthyism all through the best of the old fashioned stuff that I check out from time to time.
The state of the art in Sci-Fi, that I've seen, doesn't seem to address the issues of today whatever they may be. Or does it and I've just missed out? If so, what are some examples
