Last night I was wined and dined on the northwest shore of Lake Tahoe (at Garwood's, home of the 'wet woody') and tonight, on the northeast shore at the Lone Eagle.
Whilst there it began to snow.
Note that today is June friggin FIFTH.
Do I really want to live in a place where it SNOWS IN JUNE?
The people are simply awesome.
The job is a no-brainer.

There are four adult soccer leagues (according to a geocities website...) and many condos along the river available for rent.

I'm working on a yacht in Alaska. I get real sketchy wireless connection coverage...sometimes. Cell service is the same. Which is good and bad all at the same time.
So to save time I'm going to only post (for a while, unless I've got juicy news that can only be shared here) to my OTHER livejournal.

I had so much fun the last few nights playing soccer and seeing pals - thanks everybody for all the well-wishes. My neurotic fear of "froofing" the dining room table on the boat and getting the napkin fold just right has slightly dissipated with all of your thoughtful cajoling. Much appreciated.

I've been everywhere and I canNOT find any khaki pants that fit right. I'm stymied by either:
(1) their basic shape - they're either boxy and awful or hippish [not in a good way, but rather in a mompantsy way] and pleated;
(2) their basic design - so many of these pants are now outfitted with diagonal pocketry and/or 'stylish' threading, which isn't acceptable;

I have a lot of opportunities staring me down on this Cinco de Mayo, which is a terribly wonderful feeling. But it makes for a crowded head. Combined with the lingering knot in my gluttius medius, (ie, the Pretzel Ass) I'm in no shape to be 'working' right now. Hence, a LiveJournal post.
1 - spend over two months in Alaska working my pretzel ass into a frenzy aboard the M/Y Legacy.
