Gordon has zero interest in the fireworks shows so we never go. This year though I talked him into a compromise. Instead of going whole hog by packing a picnic, sitting with a blanket out with everyone else, etc we parked on the street and planned to watch from the car. I had my dermatology appointment today. She was so cool and told me she's very aggressive so it would probably only take one laser treatment. Considering I was expecting to pay $100 more at Kaiser (she charged $300!) and they were telling me it would take 3-5 treatments, I was so freaking happy. I said "today, can you do it today? I rode my bike last night and tonight. I don't know what hurts more. My butt from sitting on that hard, evil, little seat or my legs from exercising in ways they never knew existed before now. There are lots of little kids out on their little bikes in the evening and I keep expecting one of them to pedal on past me as I slowly mosey along *G*

As they should be after 2 years of neglect, my bike tires were flat and I couldn't find the tire pump. Instead I took Vigo for a walk and he was in heaven. I feel bad for not taking my own dogs on more walks.

Well my twice a day client just called to say the wife is staying home today and they don't need me. This is good because I don't have to drive all the way over there twice today and I just have 3 jobs in a couple of hours to do. It's bad because I take their dogs on a 45 minute walk that really gets me sweating and that I really look forward to every day. I'm going to see if my bike tires are still in good shape.

So you guys know I have red cheeks. It's actually broken blood vessels and I'm going to see a dermatologist about it in July to get laser treatments. I'm in the heat a lot of the day sweating so I don't wear makeup. I wondered, though, if there was a magic powder out there that would even out my skin tone and cover the broken vessels without feeling thick?
