Ah, yes, I hadn't thought about that.
Lifting boulders around and smashing them open with sledgehammers seems to help with upper body strength.
Between that and cross country practice I might actually be in shape by this fall. Kind of scary.

Went on a trip today with a couple people from the Geology club to various localities in New York between Buffalo and Rochester. Apparently I'm now the youngest active member. That's not surprising.

Somehow I scraped by with an A in Chemistry. I have now aced what are reputedly the two most difficult classes on campus. Not that it's saying much with BCC.
Also, my historical geology professor says I might possibly have the highest grade in all of his years teaching historical geology. Kind of sad.

I hate that feeling you get when you're out in a storm and you can feel the lightning homing in.
I don't know, I think it's the seventh time I've felt it in my life even making a specific effort not to be out in storms. Er... well, excluding that time I went running through one for nearly 10 miles, but that wasn't exactly my fault (I felt it about five times that day).
