So we broke up last night. Shelby was all wrong when he told me just a couple of weeks ago that Cody loves me, and that I could keep us alive if I wanted to. I tried. I poured my heart out last night. And then he told me that he'd already decided that he needed to keep a promise to himself from before we met - that he was going to not date anyone for at least a year. He said we were broken before we even started.

My subconscious really sent me a blow last night.

So a guy outside at the smoker's corner (at work) has been chatting me up both yesterday and today & just asked me out for a drink!! EEK. Told him I have a boyfriend, but he still didn't back down - says we can "be friends." Prolly not gonna join him, but kinda reveling in the whole "hey - I'm still cute" thing.

Woooohoo!!! I'm finally back at work. I know that's a strange statement, but 3 months - a whole friggin 1/4 of a year - is far too long for someone like me to be away from her job!!!
Yesterday was my first day back. I freaked out a little before I left home, but once I had my comfy green sneakers on and had a cigarette, all was well, and I was off to Bellevue. I was scared that they'd treat me differently
