So, this morning I used the oven to reheat some pumpkin cheesecake spring rolls. I noticed that the heating element had a bright spot, but I didn't think much of it. But a few minutes ago, as Josie is preheating the oven, the damn thing starts spitting sparks. Looking at the heating element, it's got obvious divots where the metal has eroded away. I can't believe that CNN has a Second Life news center. What's the deal with SL? It's supporters are almost fanatic about it, but I log in and I get bored. So many people claim that it's so easy to be an entreprenuer, but I don't even see the shops! I feel like SL is like my FL, I kinda just stand on the outside looking at a bunch of people running around trying real hard to tell themselves "this is great."

What is it with game reviewer's obsession with the Sam & Max mini-games? First of all, that's exactly what they are, mini-games. They take about 30 minutes to beat, which goes in line with naming them "episodes". They're easy, mindless, and overall mediocre. They also use up waaay too many system resources for the trivial level of graphics displayed.

Dial a power? Sounds like ye olde turbo switch.
Now, my question is, is no one ever turned turbo mode off, then who'd ever going to dial down the power on their PC? Perhaps if you have an on screen display that converts CPU power into dollars per month in electricity that you're burning.

Will has a lot of really good points. The 360 and PS3 are just their predecessors with a better processor and better graphics, so no real innovation. But I think his praise of the Wii is a bit overblown. Granted, I love my Wii and I think it's well worth the money I spent for it. BUT, it's got a lot of disadvantages.
