Allright, so the saga of did Roy pass a kidney stone or does he have kidney cancer continues.
I saw my primary doc two weeks ago for the boil, he said yeah we have the results of your ultrasound. Looks like your kidney is inflamed, you should really follow up w/ the doc that requested the ultrasound. Alright, well that lit a fire under my ass to schedule the follow-up.
So I scheduled one, but

Nothing really to report. Just bored at work.
So work is getting kinda interesting. I get to use dynamic SQL via PL/SQL, woo. The fun part is I'll be generating an ENTIRE sql statement from a small collection of rule tables. That includes the select list, from and where clause. To top it all off, it's generating a multi-table insert statement, so toss in a couple of insert/values lists too.

So now I'm taking this crazy anti-biotic for the infection. I have to take it for ten days...four times a day. Yeouch. That's a lot of times a day. I liked the stuff they gave me for the sinus infection, once a day for three days.
As for the kidney stone, I'm not sure what's up with that yet. I have a follow up appointment next week for that. Since a different doctor requested the test done, that doc

A lot of people around here complain about Informatica, and the usual rebuttal is oh, I hear at other projects informatica is great we must have a crappy install/admin.
Well, even with better admin, I'm not sure if it would suck any less. Maybe a newer version...but alas, for version 7 of a product, I shouldn't have to deal with this crap:
- The ever nebulous "widget.cpp" error. You get

Hopefully by the time I need to buy a new water heater, this will be available for general consumption. Doesn't really seem to have a tremendous amount of output, but I think it would definitely aleviate some costs during the winter months. Assuming it can generate heat at least as efficient as a traditional gas boiler.

It seems like Mario Party 8 reviewed pretty poorly. But then again, it seems like all of the Mario Party games review poorly. It really makes me wonder how much stock you can put into these game reviews. They're pretty informational, but I usually don't bother reading it if the score is less than 8.
It seems like a lot of people dislike mario party because it's always the same formula, same/similar minig

For whatever reason, I had a thought today. What if I just stopped coming in on fridays. I immediately thought of that episode of malcom in the middle where it turns out that hal hadn't worked fridays in several years. But I digress.
I feel confident that I can do it if I wanted to, I would just have to work longer hours the rest of the week.
But the real question is...what would the other co

Dear Nintendo,
Please force your testing team to work overtime so that May 28 can be the release date for Mario Party 8. I would like to be able to enjoy the entire day, a FREE PAID HOLIDAY, to play what will surely be an excellent game.
Thanks.
PS - The Wii is awesome.

Attention Oracle, stop absorbing partners and muscling out the competition for five minutes. You guys need to implement possibly one of the greatest features ever: regexp_decode. Decode is great and all, but it's lack of pattern matching blows. Regular expressions are fantastic, but running 42 different sql statements to classify the contents of a string suck.
I will need this functionality by next wedn
