today i had to cut potatoes into really thin slices. i could have used a mandolin which is like a vegetable slicer but it was slow so i used the big deli slicer. it cut the potatoes really fast along with a few ends of fingernails and a thin slice of the back of my finger. i made myself a kitchen bandage which is a strip of paper towel wrapped with clingfilm (becasue clingfilm sticks to itself and is waterproof). i m

back from the pub. i used my charm and sneakosity to fill the couch across from the table with fine hooches. i drank a fair amount and caught the last train home. last trains are full of cool weird people and passed out drunks. pissed in the bushes on the way home, got the spare key from the garage, and rolled a spliff.
all in all a pretty cool night.

little things make your day so much better.
i patted a friendly dog on the way to the station, got a free newspaper on the train (everyone goes for them so you have to be fast and scan passing carriages before you get on), meeting up with my friend carrington to walk up the hill to college, talking shit about some dudes out front screwfacing everyone, we did a new chinese menu today which meant only 1 dish each

my train wasnt getting through to my station so i went to the next station hoping to get one from there. no luck. so i had to walk 3 or 4 miles back from there to my house and now the tendons in my legs are twitching like mad.

this week i munched down on frog legs, very bland meat and not the most apetising animal to eat, and snails, which smell horrible before they are cooked but have the same texture as mussels and an earthy taste like mushrooms. walking home thinking about it later i did feel abit quesy though.
Also we had a class talk about stress after whcih i was really relaxed.

what a good holiday. got presents, got drunk (lots), got high (lots), went to parties, listened to drum and bass, traveled over 1000 miles, didnt have a single day of sitting around doing nothing, all in all 2008 is great so far.
