The weather conditions worsened a lot. Colder than in Lapland, annoying rain along with strong wind. This had seriously limited the sightseeing. I was pleased with just staying in the car and looking at whatever shows up.

The Rally of Finland is to WRC what the Monaco GP is to Formula 1. The peak of the season. The biggest trophy for the one who wins. Besides, only 3 drivers outside Finland have ever won it. Time to see for myself how that madness feels...

As I was back in Helsinki on 5.08 and had no place to stay at the moment, I pulled the last money out of my pockets and noticed they're enough for a little last adventure... So I carried all my baggage, again, to the railway station, looking forward to being a part of Ankkarock! I didn't even check which train to take - I simply followed the hordes of rockers. The feeling was great :D

Finns seem to have a passion for these! I see these objects in bars, restaurants, cafes, clubs, shopping centers and in plenty of stores all over the capital! I kind of like them too, so I took the camera out whenever a pretty one was in sight. To Squib's despair, I was always up for a 'chandelier hunt'. I had the extraordinary chance to do this, so I took the train to the Finnish capital of metal, kept going northwards by car, reached the Arctic Circle, then came back South on the Eastern side. This journey took about 3 days, which were so intense and full of excitement.
So, on an early Sunday morning, right after Q-Stock, a nice Finnish train took me on a 7-hour journey to my Finnish dream named Oulu.
