So yesterday (Tuesday) was supposed to be the last day of classes. But we had a blizzard. And it was a snow day. Lol, I've only had like one snow day in my life and that was back in the 6th grade I think... because there was about 4' of snow on the ground. To be really honest I was absolutely surprised that they didn't have classes, it was only like -10 and the snow was pretty light. Eh, what am I complaining about.

This saturday will be my 19th birthday! I will be turning legal for the second time in my life! (here the drinking age is 19, lol). I'm contemplating making this 'turning legal' birthday an actual partying birthday, unlike when I turned 18 in Calgary and could do anything I wanted in the world but decided to watch Happy Feet in the IMAX.... haha I'm lame.

I got my gi today!! For those of you who don't know I started karate this year. I wanted to do it my whole life but never had a chance to, so when I found out it was offered at my university I figured what better time to start than now? So yay, I finally feel like I'm actually in a karate class now that my gi and belt have arrived (outfit).

So the Canadian dollar has now met par with American. What the fuck.
I'm sorry to any of my American customers who have to pay more now than usual. Good thing I make all my prices in CAD so I don't have to deal with this crazy fluctuation.

For some reason I am having an amazingly awesome day today. I'm just feeling so good! This morning I had drawing I and we critiqued our first projects! I was afraid at first but it really is soooo satisfying to have someone actually say 'you could have done this better, or maybe try this next time...'. Just had my first 2 days of classes, and most of them look awesome! A lot of friggin work (I already have tons of reading to do and we havent even started classwork) but still fun =) Drawing and Art History look like theyre going to be my faves at this point! I'm really nervous for my art classes though. We start drawing tomorrow, so I havent seen anyone elses work and I'm super worried that I wont be near as good as

Alright I am officially a Bachelor of Fine Arts student at Mount Allison University! Well, maybe not officially until initiation... eek! We'll see how that goes. I am super super sorry if I havent been replying to e-mails. Im doing my best to go online as much as I can, but frosh week is still ridiculously overwhelming and I havent been able to get to everything yet. It will come!
