It's been a while since I made any doll fashions, but I just completed knitting one of these tams for my Blythes. It's pattern C, and I did it in sock yarn on #2 needles. The scale is just about perfect. I used some bright blue multicoloured Koigu and some... uh, random cream coloured sock yarn that I lost the label for. It's drying over a saucer as I type.

Newsweek discovers: ZOMG Girlz read comix LOL! Or as they put it, "Holy Hot Flash, Batman!" (Ouch.) I don't begrudge Gail Simone a bit of press, but the rest of the piece is so appallingly clue-impaired that I'm sure it'll keep When Fangirls Attack LOLing it up for days.

I spotted the Sun-Kissed Bratz at Walmart a couple days ago. So, why the foil-wrapped potato look? The dresses (and accessories) change colour in the sun. Yasmin's dress goes gold, Cloe's goes blue. Cloe's is noticeably less silvery. I'm a little surprised that the sun gimmick wouldn't change the tint of the dolls instead.

Apparently, the Neon Pop Divaz dolls were part of the swag bag at the Z100 Jingle Ball. I guess that means the NPDs are the flagship line for this spring. Will there be a DVD?

The stuff they've posted so far looks like Spring is going to be The Cloe and Yasmin Show.
