I can't write my column. I just can't do it. It was due yesterday. IT just isn't working. I've started the fucking thing a dozen times with a dozen different ideas and NOTHING fucking makes sense. So I had a battle with myself this morning, centring around my computer. Thing is, I had no real reason to bring the computer today, coz I'm supposed to be reading Melville. But I somehow convinced myself that yes, I did need the computer for some reason or another, and now I realize I convinced myself of this coz I wanted to spend the morning pissing around on the internet instead of reading Melville's short novels.
