For someone who watches TV as little as I do, I'm surprisingly happy that the 14-week writers strike is over. I think it's because when you only watch 3 shows regularly, halting any of them has a larger proportionate effect on your TV-viewing behavior.
I wonder:
- Will we get more than 8 episodes of Lost this season?
- Will there be any more Heroes episodes this season?

I saw this ESPN story about a camel that picks the winner of football games. Princess the camel picked 11 of 17 winners correctly during the regular season but has been an impressive 8 of 10 so far in the playoffs. She is picking the Giants to beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

That's a rhetorical question, but it feels like the writers strike has been going on for a long time, and I haven't heard any news that the two sides are any closer to an agreement. Congratulations to Rich (Goose) Gossage for making it into the Baseball Hall of Fame! Gossage was the top reliever when I started getting into baseball in the late 70s, and he will always be my measuring stick for relief pitchers.
