I wasn't sure how bummed I'd be that the Patriots finished 16-0, but I'm now officially bummed. I even had a nightmare about it. The only consolation is that they still have to win three more games to win the Super Bowl, but if that happens, how much more bummed will that make me feel? I read a blog post (sorry, I can't find the link anymore) about how new web sites choose nonsensical names because all the good, intuitive domain names have already been taken. It also listed some domain names that are misleading, and perhaps the owners of these sites should have given some more thought to the names they chose. I finished watching Heroes Volume 2: Generations. With the writers strike, this could be all that we'll get this season. After a brief period of getting better, the last two episodes of the season went back downhill again.

I was talking with a friend about all the Japanese shows we've watched -- Iron Chef, Ninja Warriors, countless anime shows -- which made me wonder why no one has come up with a Japan TV channel. It could show anime in the mornings, game shows and soap operas in the afternoon (Japanese game shows look like they're so much more fun than American game shows), and game/reality shows or movies during primetime.

As I sit here with my Dolphins still searching for their first win of the season, the Hurricanes shut out of the college bowl picture, and the Heat in the Southeast division cellar, I can't help but envy Boston sports fans. The Red Sox are World Series champs, the Patriots are the best team in football and still undefeated, and the Celtics have the best record in the NBA.

The good news is that the episodes are getting better.
One reason is that they're not showing the lame plotline involving Sylar, Paolo, and Nicki, uh..., I mean Maya and Alejandro. Also, we're finally seeing a unified story, like the bomb last season, but there seems to be two stories -- the virus and Adam Monroe.
