ABC announced that after this season, there will be three more seasons of Lost. Each season will comprise 16 episodes, for 48 total episodes of my favorite TV show left (not counting the 3 remaining episodes this season).
I am actually glad they announced an end date because now the producers know exactly how much longer they have to work with, and the end result, I believe, will be that the

I finally got around to watching this week's episode of Heroes, which takes place 5 years in the future.
There were two big time travel questions I had after watching the episode: - If Future Hiro's goal is to stop Sylar, why go back to Peter and deliver the cryptic message, "Save the cheerleader, save the world"? Why not go

I am sooo upset with the Dolphins for not drafting Brady Quinn. What do you do when the player who some rate as the #1 pick in the draft falls to you at #9? What if the player happens to play the most important position on the field? And what if the player happens to play the position that is your team's greatest need?
If there was ever a no-brainer decision in the NFL draft, this

I came across this blog entry titled "If You're So Dumb, Why Aren't You Rich?" It cites a study in the journal Intelligence (which I couldn't find when I followed the link -- I'm too stupid?). The study sought to find a correlation between IQ and wealth. The nice scatterplot in the blog showed that there was none.

The Leaky Cauldron has a new quiz on its site called The Ultimate Deathly Hallows Predictions Exam. It's a series of Yes/No questions about what will happen in Deathly Hallows. I submitted my predictions. In less than 100 days, we'll find out if I have any divination skills at all.

One of the tech-related sites that I like to visit is the writing of Paul Graham, a really smart (in my opinion) guy who is now a partner at Y Combinator. Paul recently published an essay titled "Microsoft is Dead". The main point of his article is no surprise to me. For the past two years, I
