J. K. Rowling announced that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released on July 21, 2007. This will come shortly after the release of the Order of the Phoenix movie on July 13. It's gonna be a heck of a summer for Harry Potter fans!

As I was driving in to work today, I missed the traffic report and wished I could rewind the radio broadcast back ten seconds to catch it. Then I thought to myself, "Self... wouldn't it be nice if someone invented a Tivo for the radio?" Aside from listening to traffic news, I'd use it to record and play back my favorite songs from the radio, new stories that I want my wife to hear, etc.

Congratulations to the Florida Gators, who whipped Ohio State to win the national championship and become the first school to have the reigning champs in both football and men's basketball at the same time.
