When I last wrote about my quest to find something to listen to at work, I was looking for new podcasts. I've since given it up and decided to stick to the podcasts that I already know and like. Instead, I started trying out music sites. Ideally, I wanted to find a site where I could pick artists/songs that I wanted to listen to and have it play a random assortment of songs in their entirety... all

Finally got around to watching "Lost". Not exactly the cliffhanger I expected from the last episode of the first "pod". I wished they had spent more time on Locke, Sayid, and Desmond because that sounded like a more interesting plot development than the soap opera between Jack, Kate, and Sawyer.
Reflecting back, I wonder if Jack meant it when Kate asked him to perform the operation and refused,

There are several reasons why I'm so happy about today's win by the Dolphins:
- The Dolphins won. Although the playoffs are practically out of reach and more losses would mean higher draft picks, how can a Dolphins fan not be happy when the team wins?
- The Dolphins stopped a team from going undefeated. The 1972 Perfect Team has one less thing to worry about. Now only the Colt

Major spoilers below. Don't click if you haven't seen the episode yet!
I can't believe they killed off Eko!! I am so upset by it because Eko was one of my favorite characters and I thought he had a lot more to contribute to the story. I know that killing off characters is part of the Lost "traditional", but I'm starting to

The Heat just set a record for the worst opening game loss by a defending champion. Yes, it's only one game, but the Heat looked bad all throughout the exhibition season too.
Ordinarily, I'd shrug it off, but this was how the Dolphins started out as well: high preseason expectations, an uninspiring preseason, and a loss in the first game.

I liked this episode more than I thought I would, given the so-so trailer I saw last week.
Is Desmond clairvoyant now? My take on his "experiment" is that he saw Claire's hut getting struck by lightning in the future, and that's why he offered to fix her roof. Failing that, he constructed the lightning rod to attract the lightning

Although they haven't been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs (yet), the Dolphins will not realistically make the playoffs this year. They would have to win all of their remaining games to have a shot. One more loss would result in a 9-7 season at best, and chances are that won't be good enough for the playoffs.
As a Dolphins fan, I'm contemplating rooting for them to lose as ma

Having the Tigers and Cardinals in the World Series implies two things to me:
- The baseball gods hate me, since I rooted for the A's to beat the Tigers and the Mets over the Cardinals.
- The idea of finishing the regular season strong in order to build momentum into the playoffs is rubbish. The Cardinals stumbled at the end of the season and only backed into the playoffs because the Astr

The weakest episode of season 3, IMHO, and the preview for next week's episode doesn't look much better.
What are we supposed to make of the flashback with Eddie? That he turned everyone in to the police? That Locke either wasn't thrown in jail or that by the time he boarded the flight, he was already released? I thought it

Because I get into the office between 7:00 and 7:30 in the morning, there's a couple of hours of dead time before anyone else arrives. It's actually great for productivity because I can get a lot done without interruption. However, I like to work with background noise, like music, and I've gotten tired of the CDs I have here. So lately, I've been going to the ITunes Store to check out podcasts to su
