I've spend the last couple of days feeding my Sims addiction and it has been wonderful. I had 2 days off in a row, which hasn't happened in a while and tonight is the only night I close all week. Tomorrow and Thursday I am doing projects at our store and another for up to 8 hours. It kind of sucks but it also is great because I get to wear jeans and a t-shirt and don't have to help any customers.

The concert was amazing, I'm really glad that Phil offered me the extra ticket even though I was not super interested in seeing them live. Those little, Canadian twins are super snarky and engaging and just hilarious.

I just checked my package notification and it's currently sitting in Grosse Pointe *squee*!!! I ordered a new 1 GB module for my computer because it goes SUPER slow and I can no longer stand waiting for The Sims 2 to load so that I can play. Hell week is finally over. It wouldn't have been so bad working 6 days in a row if we hadn't been busy every single day and if I hadn't closed just about every day as well. The credit union called yesterday morning and let me know. I'll be getting $9.50 to start and then after 90 days I get a performance review and possibly a raise. Phil moved some of his stuff in tonight. Just his books and DVDS, which is super exciting because now I have another 200+ to choose from. AND tomorrow he's going to let me open the ones that aren't (honestly who doesn't open theirs as soon as they get home???) and help him alphabetize. Yes, I am a nerd and to me there's nothing better than opening a new DVD and then getting to alphabetize them.

Got the DVR installed yesterday so no more having to run up and down the stairs on Thursdays!!! Plus we no longer have to worry about shows getting taped when someone isn't home.
