...and I think I can safely say I've moved up to Expert now. Not that there aren't plenty of songs I still can only play on Hard (and a few I can't finish on Hard at all), but since we got past Evenflow I believe this is a period of transition.
Funny, this game gets so much more fun the better you get at it. :D

The new neighbors were over for tea today, and this was reason for me to be deeply nervous because the husband is Vice President of Scientific Affairs at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, which is one of the largest biotech companies in the world. (The same company that developed Advil and Robitussin, as a point of reference.) He was a really nice guy though, and he was kind enough to answer a few of my career questions.

Mass Effect just keeps getting better and better. I'm over the learning curve on the combat and now there's just no part of the game that isn't tons of fun.
I've not finished it yet (tons of lovely planets and sidequests to explore!), but if it keeps up as it's going, Mass Effect will quite neatly snag my recommendation as Best Game Ever.
