Is it a monster? :D
There was a really good Halloween episode of Bones on today... which is the first time regarding that show I've been able to say "good" instead of just "entertaining". Apparently over Christmas break I have an appointment with a dentist called Dr. Schocker. Does that sound evil or what?
In other unrelated news, my lab teacher is a middle aged woman who showed up today in combat boots, hiking pants and a bright yellow jacket. I liked her on sight. :)

That was far and away the most difficult test I've ever taken. I think I passed it, but it's really impossible to tell.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have a coma to fall into.

Well, at least I think it's cool. :)
Arachidonic acid is a cellular messenger and a derivative of the cell's plasma membrane. It serves as the precursor to multiple compounds that, while important to the body's resistance against diseases, are largely responsibly for the bulk of physical misery. Among its derivatives are prostaglandins (pain), thromboxans (swelling) and histamines (itching). It's also

On some days I feel better about my Dutch than others. Most days I try to keep my mouth shut as much as possible so as not to draw attention to myself. That's sort of a bust during werkcolleges though, as we have to work in groups to interpret various articles.
Today the title of the homework article was "N-glycans, not the GPI anchor, mediate the apical targeting of a naturally glycosylated, GPI anchore

Just from today:
"Comment: Thanks a lot Rowling, I'm gonna go light the local bookstore on fire to cleanse it of Satan's stench."
"Kids are so easily influenced ... and indoctrinated ... here's another clever way of pushing the gay agenda on kids. Witchcraft was a hit with them so why not homosexuality. Ah, Satan is having a field day with our kids and with the consent of quite a few paren

The teacher today gave out a list of sample test questions. Just look at this ungodly, terrifying monster:
Onderzoekers zijn geïnteresseerd in hoe de calcium huishouding in hartspiercellen wordt gereguleerd en hoe je dit moegelijk zou kunnen toepassen bij hartfalen. Zij doen daarvoor de volgende experimenten:
-Elektrische stimulatie van deze cellen in een cuvet in aan
