Last night, in a dream, I talked to God. He wanted to show me he was real, but I didn't believe him. He said he'd prove it. I don't remember what happened after that... I didn't expect this place to still exist, since I deleted it over 30 days ago and LiveJournal says it deletes journals after 30 days, but... it still does. I think I'll use it for writing again. Because: I can.

Like most artists, I try to describe my mental abuse in ways others can relate, but sometimes it's so unique that I don't think anyone can even fathom it - cannot fathom unless they witness it themselves - and so I am disbelieved, and this only adds to the pain. One of the worst pains of life is never being believed, no matter what truth I speak, even as simple as saying I have a headache.

The thing about mental abuse is that, for one, you can't talk about it to people who have never experienced it, two, the only people who know what you're talking about (and can possibly sympathise) are people who have actually experienced it for themselves.
