Just got out of the shower. Got back into the habit of singing-in-the-shower. This morning was eventful: parents fought and argued with each other and it didn't affect me, for once. I think my meditation period last night paid off. I just joked with both parents after they fought. told 'em, "it's all background noise to me. Sound effects." My dad laughed and my mom mumbled.

Someone once told me that gypsies originate in India. Hey, I originate in India too.
I actually meditated some while ago and finally felt a real sense of oncoming, or at least, future joy. It took me a while to get there and at times I sunk back into the negative but I was able to correct myself by willing myself, and imagining myself, and picturing myself as hopeful. Plus I watched Oprah.

Jesus H. Christ. Have you been watching Oprah lately? Yesterday there was a special on psychics (which included a part on September 11th) and today there's a special on "The Secret", a book about spiritual energy changing people's lives - with interest codewords such as "metaphysical thinking", "thought energy" and "the law of attraction."
I'd watch the whole episode but it all feels like old news to me!

It was sort of depressing. Mostly because (I can't put my finger on it). I have an addiction to meditation, I think. Sometimes I meditate so hard that I can't properly wake out of it. It's sort of the only thing that cheers me up these days. Deep meditation. My brother's been depressed lately, too. At least he seems it. If I don't see him smile, I am permanently down. Last night I dreamed I was a bird flying from New York City to England. I could see the entire earth from where I was flying and there were birds all about in flocks. At one point I was in Iraq and I was watching a man give a speech on women's rights.
