Silent Hill multiple point review:
As a film: I'd be surprised if anyone could work out what was happening or why for the majority of the film. It drops flat on many points because it lacks the structure of a film and brings in elements mostly for the fans (the same thing that crippled the fourth Harry Potter movie). Too much like the games. A goddamn floorboard just snapped under my feet as I walked upstairs! We pulled back the carpet and found the thing was made of chipboard; all the other boards around it were solid wood. That shook me up.

In regards to that 72 hour film contest run by the third year students I entered (make a film in 3 days) I got nominated for best use of music and best special effects but I didn't win either. In recent news I have been working like crazy on my uni work. This past weekend I have entered a 72 hour film contest, we had 72 hours to make a film on the theme of "Extraordinary" and I submitted mine this morning. I had fun but it was a hell of an edit as most of the film had to be pulled together there, though I throughly enjoyed working entirely on my own for it.

I had a detailed timeplan of my day worked out for tommorow, including sleep times for tonight. Now I learn that someone had completely misinformed me of when a meeting was; telling me it was a week from now. I have three meetings to go to tommorow and now it's too late to get enough sleep. Bugger.
