Robots in disguise
As the weather was so bad yesterday afternoon, we stayed in and rented the "Transformers" movie. Our expectations were quite low, given the poor reviews it got, but I was quite keen to see it, and we thought the children would enjoy it.
It exceeded my expectations somewhat - if you're after a fun action movie with amazing special effects, you can't go wrong

Ideas going through my brain...
- Do I really need a landline phone? Both Abby and I are on mobile price plans that give us shedloads of calls each month - I never come near using the full allowance. Are there any major disadvantages in ditching a landline? I can't really see any.
- I'm thinking about getting rid of some of my Super 8 stuff. It doesn't get much use, and Super 8 running costs ar

If you're an eccentric millionaire racing driver, what could you do with your spare cash? How about building the longest miniature railway in the world? Sounds good to me. :)
Yes, it's the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, which runs very small trains over a hefty thirteen and a half mile line which is built to main line stan

I'm not well today, so I phoned in sick and have been in bed for much of the morning. I feel pretty rough, and I'm taking it easy and pumping myself full of vitamins and stuff. I hope I feel better soon.
Anyway,

Weary travail
Work has improved somewhat of late, which is good news - what I'm doing is getting clearer, I've got some training sorted out, and my boss is making efforts to communicate with me better. Secret plans, blah blah blah
Abby is going to Sc

...or lack thereof...
It's an interesting subject. I often suffer from a complete lack of it. It got so bad the other day that it actually took real effort to get up out of my seat and leave work at the end of the day. I'm one of those people who has motivation to the point of obsession for stuff that I find fun and interesting, but absolutely no motivation at all for anything even remotely boring. I
