You know what just occurred to me? "Winnie the Pooh" is a very strange name. Piglet and Tigger make sense, and Eeyore is vaguely onomatopoeic, but Winnie the Pooh? "Vinnie the Pooh" I could see, as a bizarre nickname for one Vincent Bear. Winnie, on the other hand, calls to mind "Winifred," which is an unfortunate name for a male bear to bear.

Well, I survived the week after all. Barely. Unfortunately, getting the most recent wave of summer research applications done while going through yet another medium JRA flareup meant that I got through everything by basically falling behind in all my classes.
