I am concerned that I will not make it clear to a reader exactly what the class was like so I really need to make sure it is universally understandable. My other issue is that sometimes I tend to jump around from past to present tense, so I really need to make sure I stick to one.

Writing about the speech class I took is important to me because it helped me overcome my fear of speaking in front of crowds. Considering I want to be a teacher when I am older, it is basically necessary for me to have that ability. Although I had somewhat dreaded the class, it ended up being one of my favorites I took in high school and helped validate my desire to teach someday!
